Well, I don't know much about panning gold, but Love Canal seems an unlikely spot; however, I must confess I have never subscribed to Kenney's newsletter "Family Panning", so what do I know.

I have given up totally on TA and have devised my own system of chart evaluation, and it is currently in test mode.

Testing is very simple: each night I select a chart using my new system and then measure its performance the next day. [These days it is very easy to calculate the performance in pennies, now that the confusing fractions have been eliminated.]

After making my selection, at market open time, I race from my house and spend the market day scouring the local supermarket parking lots for dropped pennies. At the close of business, I come home and compare the number of pennies found in the parking lots to the number of pennies gained by my system. The very first time the number of pennies gained in the market exceeds the number found, I will consider my system successfully tested and do an actual trade.

I am very close, and think that I will be successfully trading my system soon.
