The 101st is in-country, highly mobile, and can do a lot of what the 4th Infantry Division was going to do in the North. It is not yet in play. The 101st won't have the tanks that the 4th has, but it is nevertheless a punishing force. I assume that it can be taken North of Baghdad fairly easily. Moreover, it can be reinforced with forces presently in the South that can go North via a route that takes them safely East of Baghdad.
