Buchanan already left the Republican party, and Frum is wrong about Novak.

Going out on a limb here but I think Frum may have to get into another line of work if he doesn't stop alienating other Republicans. Novak has a lot of admirers.

Not me, I feel neutral towards him, but he's well liked.

Actually, that wasn't my point, though I've come to respect Novak's reportial skills. It was rather the striking degree to which Frum and his allies used this mantra of their opponents "hating this country," as a line. They use it for all their opponents. It appears to simply surplant argument.
