Sure we didn't lose many jobs, but guess where a lot of the final decisions about canadian oil/gas resource development are made?

All parties should be involved in development policy.....keep the toilet from overflowing sorta...

I remember when the feared terrorist group of Trudeau/Lalonde/Cretien stole our way of life.

I remember everyone bailing out of sable island ,, sun sold out to the canadian gov. mobil hung in there but most of the others bailed out.. seems like Canada made the right move on Sable Island.
When it was being drilled everyone thought it was a loser. Prices would never rise to break even... I think the gov. kept it active to keep jobs in the area.
