Mine is shifted over to the right three quarters of the screen (17 in monitor), and I am also having the two tab problem on PM's.

One thing you can do to fix the width part is to run proxomitron or some other client side proxy filter, and put in an SI-specific filter to change the tags inside the SI pages from width="900"|width="900" to width="900" or whatever you like.
