The approval ratings during war are for the troops, not necessarily Bush. Any president gets super high ratings during a war. While it lasts. Bush's father had 10% higher ratings during the Gulf War. And the 70% ratings were from last week when everyone thought this war would be over within days without many US casualties. I hate to imagine it and I would cry if it happened, but this may become a terrible war very soon. Let's pray the Iraqi threats are BS or we get lucky and destroy his chain of command completely before they unleash Armageddon on our frontlines. Who cares about Bush's frigging ratings anyway? This war is on the verge of becoming hell.
