I read a couple of stories talking about why there is no Iraqi refugees go to the refugee camps set up by the UN. and none of them mentioned that mabye just because most of Iraqis want to stay at home and protect their own country.
And from what I have read by now, this is may very well be the case. And that means the US really underestimates the nationalism of ordinary Iraqi people.

And I read from HK source that Cheney's daughter - Elizabeth Cheney left from the hotel in Jordan (she is a member of a peace organization) and on the way to Bagdad to ba a "Human Shield". Wonder why I do not read this kind of news from the US media<g> ?

And if this is true, I applaud for her courage.

I listen to the BBC coverage quite a bit -- lots different from the bull we are being fed here. Whole thing is grievous to me. I wish W had had a fit of common sense 2 or 3 weeks ago -- but I guess that was too much to hope for.
