You're damn right! But then, why a US victory in the first place?

I guess Turkey will seize any skirmish with Kurdish militiamen to "restore order" and mop up "Al-Qaeda agents".... You'd better write the Kurds off forthwith --they'll be too busy messing with the Turks to be of any help southwards.

A lot of folks don't want to see a Kurdish state - Turkey, Iraq, Russia, Iran. All states are very hard to deal with right now. I wonder whether a Kurdish state would be a good idea for world peace and stability?
