Pardon me, if you involve yourself in public demonstrations it does matter who you march arm in arm with. You may not have an agenda but rest assured, others do. To not understand that again, I find dangerous.

Good point. Here's a shorthand way to look at the matter. Suppose everything about the antiwar demonstrations remains exactly the same, except substitute the KKK for ANSWER.

Is it still ok to march side by side with them?

JB,

I've said my say on Answer. You can offer a terribly long list of problems with them. I'm not going to go there. My point is that the demonstrations are about protesting the invasion and the presence of Answer doesn't matter. It only comes to matter when and/or if a political movement follows this.

I don't think some of the items you use to characterize Answer are true but I don't wish to get into a long discussion on this thread about them, so I won't address it. I have my own views about them, again, but don't think those views address the issue of whether to participate in demonstrations in which they also participate. Not, at the moment.
