CB - The people being held at Guantanamo are both Al Qaeda AND Taliban. For the Taliban the answer to your question is self-evident and I agree with the left that we are not treating them well.

Two things: Number one many of them are Afghan. Those who are Afghan cannot be held under these conditions. It is a violation of Geneva convention in as clear black and white as you can get. For the rest, you will need a court to answer that question. There has been no effort on the part of this administration to see (or care) if the international law is being observed.
