Democrats supporting the President at 37%! In any election this is a curtain call for the democratic party, you can already tell they know it and key elements of their media are shifting rapidly to rally around the War. Recognizing full well that their major constituencies are already cracking, middle of the road democrats dont hate America and will not support the efforts of those who do. So whats left is the left, perhaps 17% of the electorate the left is disproportionately represented in both medi and politics in this country. Running against a huge NON Voting Majority and an increasingly strident Independent voter base, the party is in a word in deep S***! Politicians catering to the left wing are beginning to recognize that it matters little if they court the favor of the anti american core, because in any election, that core is alienated and isolated, out of touch and out of the rational discourse of the vast majority of America. The left has cadres at it's center who hold the power, but do so only as long as that center core; is the center of attention, and today, the county has simply moved on. No amount of subversion or chicanery can make them relevant once the greater body politic has determined their core is rotten. The democrats are on their last legs, the discourse of the last year has demonstrated their core is blatantly wrong on values and morality. Supporting a man like saddam who shreds human beings was a very bad move. It disgusts everyone whose awareness is free of the weight of the parties influence. It's magnetic properties are virtually on IGNORE. As the war progresses, democrats core source of support, the communist international has been revealed for what it is, a bankrupt movement held together by super rich elitists and a network of useful idiots. America coming out of IRAQ will never again look to the democrats as a source of anything but mistrust. Figuring that if these democrats dont recognize the difference between a government who shreds its citizens, and one who fights to end this suffering, they have lost all conection with the reality of the country. The anit American left has miscalculated in all its positions, the American people will never look to them as meaningful post the un charade. In fact, the organ of the un will be the next dominoe in the mechanism of subversion to collapse upon itself.
