zonder, Hitler's Germany was not that strong in cconventional forces, however they were very strong in certain top grade equipment that suited the blitzkreig. They were able to use movement as a substitute for quantity and the quality of their guns and tabks was far superior. There were many instances of Allied tabks being unable to stop tigers with direct hits. The opposite was not true. The HV tiger shells would penetrate anl allied tank. Allied shaped charges would kill german tanks, but they were so far outranged that they were often unable to fire a shot. Allied tanks were often used in hull down bermed position where earth was a deep protection for the hull. As for Saddam, He has weapons far better than germanies were and more of them, supplied by the USSR. He is not up to the USA, as we know, but he is quite capable of being king of the middle eastern walk if permitted to do so. He shows the same expansionism that Hitler shoed. Kuwait used to be part of Iraq and Europe soon became part of Germany, as the Middle east would if Saddam had unhindered access to resources of all types with his oil $$. Now Pakistan does not want to crush Israel. Saddam does. He still pays suicide bombers' families $25,000 blood money. Saddam would conquer all the arab countries and use their resource base to try and take on israel. israel would not sit and watch as this went on. Remember the french reactor they bombed? SO Iareal would in time ccoounter nuke him, but it would become a huge war. Now is the right time to take out Saddam. I do not like him, I do not like what he does or how he does it. We now see how he had no WMD, but now threatens anthrax of nerve gas if the 50 mile radius around his home town is penetrated. Suddenly he has them. Now you see them, now you don't 300 foot deep bunkers? Where? under high schools and hospitals, the old civilian hostage game he plays too well. Well, now we are going to drill down and flood the place with gasonline and burn them out since they will not bomb the protective covers for now. Now do they need to, once they are rats in a deep cage they can be exterminated at will. His guerilla war will fail as the people are already truning against him.
