Ted,

Given what little info we have about her, its very likely she egged him on but again, that doesn't justify killing her.

You keep making this leap of her jumping in front of a bulldozer and killing. It's not killing. It is suicide.

Joe

Ted Re... Harry, eyewitnesses said she had climbed onto the shovel and was staring straight at him. She was wearing a bright red jacket

While she may have been looking at him, he probably wasn't looking at her. Once again, when pushing with a dozer, you usually look at the cutting edge of the blade, which in this case could have been 10 ft away, and 6 ft below, from where she was. In addition, the driver normally has to lean to one side, to look past one side of the engine, down at the ground, so the engine and mufflers would have blocked his view of her. And they are loud in the cab, so all noise from the crowd is drowned out. You always have to shut down the engine to hear someone. If you had driven one, you would understand, how dangerous it is to assume the driver will notice you.
