Ted,

Harry, she didn't suddenly jump in front of the bulldozer, she stood there.......she had been standing for some time. That's why I don't think it was accident.

Ok, she stood there for some time, she saw the bulldozer, and she didn't get out of the way. If that's true (and I don't know where you get these facts), obviously, it was not an accident. It was a suicide.

Joe

Of course, she had been standing in front of dozers tor wks already, AFAIK. Why wasn't she killed earlier. Because she always moved out of the way. And the driver assumed she was going to jump out of the way this time also, so he concentrated upon what he was doing. These dozers don't push faster than 5 mph. This time she didn't move fast enough. It happens to me all the time, when animals go in front. You usually just keep on pushing, and they get out of the way. On a big machine, when he got close, he couldn't have seen whether she got out of the way or not, because the blade is bigger than she is. She isn't the first person who has gotten run over accidently, and she won't be the last.

>I think the pertinent question is did she deserve to die because she stood in the way of the bulldozer.

And no one here is arguing that she did.
