But there are those in the decision making positions who really don't have a feel for nations they are trying to deal with. Their internal termoils are of their own doing and are best resolved by themselves. This is not any different than saying that US is in termoil because of pro-war and anti-war groups (NeoCons and ?) or Christian Right and Seculars, etc. etc. It is not the kind of conflict that exists between say Kurds and Turks.
