Sure was for the iraqis. In addition to the regualr combat deaths, the iraqis were routed on the road back to baghdad to prevent all that armor and munitions from being used again by saddam. But for the iraqis it was hell, it didn't just suck.

could be. In this case i think the coalition will be getting more and more help from the Shiite populations as time goes on. They do not like (to say the least) the sunni minority that's aligned with saddam.
