Thanks for the update. It is amazing that some people did not question why it is that there is far less opposition to US invasion in the Arab world than in the West. Some chucked it up as support for US...now there is wishful thinking if I ever saw one.

On Saturday, Marwa Farouq, Shaymaa Samir and Nourhan Thabet -- three female students who have been prominent antiwar activists -- were arrested while attempting to enter Cairo University to attend a demonstration. Thabet, who is pregnant, was reportedly beaten, bound and blindfolded. Her whereabouts are unknown and there are fears that she has no access to medical care, the report said..."What started two months ago with isolated detentions of demonstrators and activists has now become a sweeping repression of dissent," he added.

Be assured that these actions are not seen as just wrong handling of a sensitive situation by Hosni Mubarak, but as repression coming from US via the regime.
