The Biblepounders? You mean the ones whose defense is the Word of God?

It is surprising to hear that you went to church. Maybe some of it will help you against the spirit of antagonism.

Mars, The church we go to is also small, and the worshipers are quite close to each other. The music is a small band, instead of just an organ, and sometimes gets a little out of hand. I prefer Gospel music, like the Gaithers, over the new age, rock-a-hymn stuff. What is called "the service" is really a study of the New Testament of the Bible, and discussions about their meanings, and how they affect the modern world. Brotherly love abounds in the place.

From Santiago's post to you, I guess he doesn't understand what a "Bible thumper" is. We know that they are the ones that use the Bible to put on a medicine show, and bilk people out of their money, like Jim Bakker, and Jimmy Swygert, to name just two of many. And we cannot forget Oral Roberts who demanded 8 million dollars from his followers to prevent him from being called home to God. It seems to me that a real Christian would be jumping for joy about the prospect of joining his God in Heaven.
