Bill, distance lends perspective. That's why judicial proceedings are conducted away from the heat of battle and with the reasoning, thinking part of brains in the 'on' position. Lynch mobs are notoriously misdirected. What seems a good idea in a drunken state in the midst of lust, jealousy or greed doesn't look half as clever in the bright lights and sober realm of the courtroom.

You are so lucky to have me to help you out with my clear-headed distant perspective. AND I don't charge.

<Iraq has ordered large quantities of a drug that can be used to counter the effects of nerve gas, mainly from suppliers in Turkey, which is being pressed to stop the sales, according to senior Bush administration officials. > What was the name of the senior administration official and what was the name of the drug? Asprin? Some drugs are multifunctional you know. A bit like aluminium tubes aren't all to make nuclear bombs. That's obviously disinformation.

Also, we hear that Iraqi POWs have gas masks. I wonder whether they are gas masks or sand masks or smoke masks. Breathing is an important function and I'd quite like to have breathing apparatus with me - it would help prevent USA troops getting me with tear gas for example. Or, stuff like the Russians used to poison the theatre in Moscow when the Chechens captured it.

See? Now, with my help, you are able to understand what's really going on. If you have any more questions, I'll be pleased to try to help with what's really going on.

PS: You obviously misunderstand how close kiwis are to Al Q. Allan Beaven was in the cockpit of a plane which he was in the process of retaking when it crashed in Pennsylvania. There's not much closer than that. Kiwi soldiers were in the mountains of Eastern Afghanistan in conflict with Al Q. That's as close as you get too. Kiwis were blown to bits in Bali which was a fairly direct contact too. We even get terrorists right here in Auckland; some Frog Men and Woman, directed by the French terrorist state of Mitterand, Hernu and co murdered a man on a Greenpeace boat [it's not really self-defence to kill Greenpeace people in the dead of night, while they are moored in a harbour - I call that cowardly murder].
