People in Baghad have lived under such a big dark cloud so long they have forgotten what freedom is.
Once they are convinced we will not leave them again to face Saddam they will notice the sweet smell of freedom in the air. That feeling will flow thru the city like a giant wave and all we have top do is provide them some arms and protect them momentarily from their overfed local Military bosses and they will finish off the rest of the Regime.
So perhaps no need for a frontal assault on the City, we can add Iraq as a coalition partner and crush
the famous RG between the city and our wall of tanks.
Having solved that simple problem , there still remains the problem of WMD's

You would have to nail down a definition of "Eminent attack" and "Self Defense" to make that hold water, John. And, of course, you would never agree with me on the definitions.

Bill, that's stuff we've all posted back and forth to one another, interminably. I was under the impression we all understood one another's views on this and had decided that it was a case of just having to agree to disagree.
