Re: Uprising reported in Basra I think this is what the US / allies needs badly. I posted a great article on this thread about the need to create (a fiction if needed) home grown resistance, like the French resistance, so that there are Iraqis who will be on the victorious side, which would be the bases for the new government, and a new sense of Iraqi nation. I hope the report of uprising is true, and I hope out British friends will not let them down. Joe
