I bought an e-machine about a year about $400 including monitor, printer, and 1 year internet access including about 6 rebates. The only beef I have with it is that it does not include real operating system disks. Instead it includes a disk image. This means if something goes wrong and you need to "reinstall" the operating system. You have no choice but to overwrite your whole harddrive. IE it goes back to the state it was in when you bought it. Also, I had a problem with mine and I tried to install several different operating systems from "real" operating system disks and could not get it work and was forced to go back against my desire to the e-machine image. But it was still a good deal and it was what I expected (a cheap, throw it away when you are done with it computer.) I would buy one again depending on what I was planning on using it for.
