"objective of the invasion of Afghanistan - to capture OBL. Tom " Actually, the best evidence was that even if OBL were alive at the time of that invasion, he would have been in Pakistan. But geeze, invading Pakistan might have set off a nuclear war and we couldn't let that happen until we positioned ourselves in Iraq - another weak and wartorn country.... This war is a mess, an outrage and may well be the last mistake we ever make....
