Just drop the BS, Barry. I'm a loyal American like you.
I just dont happen to like this administration's policies. It is too right-wing for me and Bush ran as much more of a moderate. So he lost me there, any trust I could ever have in him. I kind of liked his Dad when he was younger but I really dont like GW at all. I thin he's a front-man for too many special interests which I largely oppose.

Of course I support aggressive counter-terrorism with extreme prejudice, all our troops, and the Brits and Aussies too. I cheer every time I hear we've knocked out a terrorist cell or an Iraqi position. It breaks my heart when I hear one is killed or captured. Same as you probably.

So let's not get into insane arguments about who is more patriotic just we support different policies. That BS comes from the right-wing windbags. That liberals are evil. Such caca. They ought to be ashamed. Mature conservatives dont say those kind of things, know how to work together and find common ground. They know there are just as many patriots in each political party. The Greens maybe not but they have other priorities and are a small minority.

If Saddam had attacked the US, I'd be out supporting the pro-war rallies. As is though I'm a moderate about the war and care primarily about the troops and peace after this.
