To be fair, she may have been correct. to a degree. But it's the old catch 22. Gotta be in the right place, right time. When she made that statement(10/03/01) The DJI was at 8950 SOMP 1492 SPX 1051. Howeveer, I'm sure the public knew exactly what she was talking about. She was referring to the precious metals markets. finance.yahoo.com Closing on 10/02/03: XAU 59 HUI 72 XAU is up about 10% but still better than the SPX which is down 17%. And the HUI is up 60% in the same time frame. finance.yahoo.com I think they were on a commercial break when she said which index was the "in a life time opportunity." But who knows, at this point it sure looks like they are gonna give the miners a few more bruises before it starts to heal(that's called reverse psychology<G>
