Brumar, how come Americans reading their respective newspapers used to always get a hearty dose of the Soviet Union spying on Americans, but just recently, we, Americans, couldn't find anything in our newspapers about America spying on the United Nations Security Council member homes and offices?
Oh, but we did, else how did you and I come to know of it?

It does little good for the US gov't to try to stop publication of a story in the US. I can get to a British or Australian or Belizean or Mexican or German newspaper in a single click.

How do you control access to news under these conditions?

Your paranoia is overcoming your reason.
