I don't feel any need to show you anything. imagine that Yeah, imagine that. You are confronted with logic and reality and you turn tail and run. I think I'd be very silly indeed if I felt any need to justify myself in your eyes- considering I know nothing about you, and wish to know nothing about you. Justify yourself in my eyes, what??? No you don't have to justify YOURSELF just your IDEAS if you are going to present them to me. Further, I never offered or wished to have you "know" me or justify yourself. You offered this flawed response: 12 years of doing nothing doesn't seem like a reasonable pretext for war (to me). It's simply not worth the money or the men we're going to use up over there. Saddam is not reasonable, but until he actually did something to us, I think we could have waited. And we want have been able to wait long enough for him to cease to be a problem. Iraq was not our major problem. I only attempted to get you to defend it. Obviously you can't so you hide behind that pathetic post. Do know anything about the majority of the posters on SI. This whole forum is made up of people that DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER debating and sharing ideas. I apologize for almost making you think. What strange ideas you have. What ideas are those? I just picked one aspect of your post (it is chock full of points I would debate as being incorrect) and posted pieces of the Security Council Resolutions pertaining to Saddam's regime that show Saddam is not in compliance with the UN resolutions, Saddam has brutalized Iraqi people and Iraq's neighbors and that the US & Britain have legal ground to call off the Gulf War cease-fire. I will now gladly leave your little land of make believe on SI since logic and reality are not welcome.
