John, in order of importance to me I'd like to see more contrast on the subject marks list [can barely read visited thread names] and a change in background color on top [very light blue or grey instead of mustard]. If you're familiar with myYahoo you already know they offer dozens of customizable color schemes. Since it's impossible to satisfy everyone with ONE scheme, that would be the best solution.
