Jacob's blueprint has very little chance of ever getting a public hearing so long as fundamental election reforms and structural changes to corporate America are not made. Everyone of his proposals is either taking money away from some group, reduces somebody's market, or robs off some entrenched interest the wrong way. And that means no funding for the candidate who chooses that path...even without the special interests, bringing such changes in policy would be very difficult for reasons explained in The Prince by the father of modern political science.
