You inability to stick to the afghan invasion by the Soviets, the topic in question, is not suprising.

whats there to discuss?? The original 'subject in question' had nothing to do with the Soviets in Afghan., it was a tangent you seemed to go off on given you had no basis or rebuttal for what the original discussion was about..

The fact that the current campaign in Iraq has nothing to do with freeing anybody (propaganda dished out by the US which simple minded people, like yourself might believe in order to justify what will be thousands of US troops dying and their families suffering as a consequence of the whim of a cowboy), but rather an attempt by the US government to grab a foothold in the middle east with which it intends to guarantee that you pay $1.25 a gallon to fill up your SUV for the next few decades.
