In all due respect what you are missing is the degree to which Christians trust their risen Lord. In bringing to an end Hitler's regime the Allied forces made up of Christian nations, and by no means do I mean that all men who fought in those armies were Christian, could easily have ended up in gas chambers but those men, one of which was my father trusted God for not only his salvation but also his life. I can identify with all those who have nothing to trust in but themselves, for life and for sustenance and for livelyhood and for salvation...and the enemy will tell you there is enough good in every man to be saved...but one white lie or small sin will send an unsuspecting benefactor to a burning hell where the punishment will be equal to the worse offender who broke every law....put another way do not be THE INVENTOR OF AIR CONDITIONING AND END UP IN ETERNAL FLAMES.....isn't there a gas air conditioner...a flame burning will cool your home....go figure...right...to an unbeliever the concept of God's son coming to earth is just as strange I will be the first to admit but just as the gas air conditioner I know both are true....In Christ...gregor
