That view is simplistic.
Evidently you have not explored the contents of all the links I have presented. But, of course, that is up to you.

The God of the Old Testament is an angry and most revengeful God. In order to win converts, post O.T. proselytizers present the Christian G_d as the very antithesis of the O.T. G_d.

The God of the New Testament is essentially a creation of Paul of Tarsus as is Hellfire and the Devil. Christianity as seen in the New Testament, beyond the superficial God-is-love-and- forgivenness bullshit, is essentially a sycretism of earlier religious elements (Judaism and Mithraism and an assortment of European paganisms). Read about this under the section, Biblical Contradictions.

Dick(less) - The theme of the Bible is forgiveness and love - whereas the Koran is about intolerance and death to the (Muslim) non-believers.

A crude interpretation of the importance of Islam to all of us.

Last night I was struggling to sleep as I was considering what is to me, obvious evidence of God’s will. Looking at the past evidence it is clear to me what God desires, but I could not determine why He desires it. This is as it should be, because no human can comprehend the true greatness of God or His plan.
I asked myself “why did God allow Abraham to spare both of his sons, Isaac and Ishmael.” Clearly God desired both sons to live for a reason. IMO, because He was looking forward to the future.

God knew that to Isaac’s descendents He would send word of His Message to Jews through Jesus Christ, even as He knew that not all would believe.

God also knew that to Ishmael’s descendents He would send word of His Message through the Prophet Muhammad (peace be with him).

This is when I was given a flash of insight. “If God commanded Abraham to build a table upon which He would work; would it not require at least three legs of proper proportion, in order to stand?”
