Or invade Venezuela instead?>.....US already controls the oil flow out of those countries, one by fiscal threatening/manipulation & the other by a military umbrella. As for <easier targets>....sure, Kuwait only has 11 people, 13 less than Iraq...however maybe US is awed by Kuwaiti air, navel & ground forces...formidable.....also world outrage would be too extreme for US to handle. < 911 happened, Mr. OBL said, because the US has troops in Saudi. The US has troops in Saudi to protect Saudi and Kuwait from Saddam and to enforce the no-fly zones. If there were no Saddam, there would be no need for troops in Saudi and OBL could just be a billionaire playboy gambling in London casinos. Do you now see it is necessary to sink Saddam to drain this swamp?>........actually that entire statement is full of multiple holes & not even worth challenging. At first glance it wreaks with somebody that has the personality of a woodtick. However I think you have an ulterior motive...I believe that you are antiwar & your posts are designed to bring out the best in JO, KL, PT, etc. ,who are people that actually know the time of day......to that end LL, you are doing a good job Just passing thru<bg>
