Tom, What does the <<< and >>> mean in your post? Does that mean that it was quoted from somewhere? If so, I'd like to know where. The logic employed is really priceless. Your article clearly proves that numbers can be made to say whatever you would like. If I recall, your original premise was that less than 50% of Americans supported going to war with Iraq. When challenged with facts, you backed off to claim that the figures cited by those challenging you asked a different question, namely the percentage of people who would support war given UN backing. Now more data has been provided indicating once again that a majority of Americans support the war with Iraq. Your response? "Well, those people are simply misinformed. If they had the REAL facts, they would agree with me!!!" Of course. Why don't we "cross-tabulate" the people who voted for Al Gore with, say, the people who believe that animals have rights (which is "clearly a false belief"). Hey!!! Using your logic, George W. Bush won the 2000 presidential election in a LANDSLIDE!!! Or, he would have, if only the people had been informed. Or, if only we had let the informed people vote. Or something like that...
