The Iranian street is very very different from the Muslim street. Young Iranians have had there fill of the Mullahs and 40% unemployment. They don't blame America for all their problems, they blame their own government.

I have said many times that Iraq is a beach head, ignore all the noise, Iraq allows the US to support the student revolution in Iran and Iraqi oil allows the US to leverage democratic reform in Saudi Arabia.

Democratic reform in Iraq wont start the dominoes but a democratic revolution in Iran will send a cold chill into Arab tyrants throughout the Middle East.

Bush et al could give a flying fark what Europe thinks. It's all so much noise. The war is against Islamists and Pan Arabic tyranny in the Middle East. Bush is focussed on it like a laser, there is much more in the way of strategy than makes the NYTimes and the situation in the Middle East is already improving slightly, street protests or not.

Keep you eye on the prize and Paris is not the prize.
