I'm concerned about this PPT and their heavy handed enforcement. They seem determined to accomplish their mission. And so far, they've done a stellar job. Every time the market starts to consider the reality of a weak economy and other investment risks, they jump in and start buying index futures (my guess), or use some other tactic that is harder to detect. The inevitable crash and malaise is being prolonged, not averted. And certainly there will be a much uglier picture at the end in store, than if they had just stayed out of it. But in the near term, those of use that are trying to make judgements based on the reality of economic circumstances are being beaten up at nearly every juncture. In spite of this, I remain bearish on the economy and the equities market. But the picture being painted before us (for now) doesn't match that view.

Just venting at little.
