Jesus: Risen, alive and Glorious...Buddha is dead . Ah , well greg ....just where did Jesus take himself and his risen physical body then ? Did he fly up into the sky ? Did he retire up to the north pole ? Melt again into the morning dew? Is he hiding under a pew in the church ? Where is he and this body now then that he "rose" in the soma-body ? That was Paul's word for it , from the greek "soma": Message 18753972 You see Greg , the Hindus long before Jesus came along already had prophecies of the coming of the Messiah/Buddha , and God taking human form . It is inherent in their religion that predates yours. You You will also note that Buddha was not one , but one of many ---->called "Buddha" . And they continue to be such today , So there you have an eternal prescence in any age of the living Buddha . *** And Why does it seem every time you post that "hip hip hurrah" for Jesus , it looks as though you are posting the score to an ice-hockey game , instead of a prayer to your messiah ? To any observer today , this is what Christianity such as yours looks like from the outside , and it fairly well only exists in the provencial areas of America and Canada. And it is very provincial in it's backwards intolerance matched only by fundamental Islam . Buddha =Infinity Jesus = simple minds. ;-)
