I'm not telling you what to do or judging you. However, you may wish to speak to your legal adviser. If in fact and this is purely hypothetical, your information was used in advance of its "release" and there was some consideration (not necessarily cash or percentage or piece of profit), or you had reason to believe that it would be so used, then it is possible to get sucked into the conspiracy web. Unfortunately, that web is very complicated and IMO tough to get away from. Low men on totem pole get "on the bus" by "ratting out" higher ups.

As I said not judging, just expressing some opinions and caveats.

Those who do judge probably would not be swayed by a claim that one did not directly profit or trade something that was part of a manipulative scheme arguendo.
