No, man, you don't understand. BBs are only an issue when it is a Demo prez and the Reps want to get the White House, ie or eg Carter/Ray Gun; "We can't be leaving this massive debt for our kids".I don't recall that it was of major importance in Clinton/George Shrubsdad. Probably won't matter in ought four, either. Shrub will be all about "I'm making you safe, he/she? (ha) is unAmerican and didn't support our troops". We are so screwed. I think, he said in his decisive Libran voice, or fingers, as the case may be, I agree with JW that we are headed into another recession, not in the least because gasoline is starting to suck up a lot of discretionary funds. We have to get those tax cuts,so that the rich can still drive their Hummer/Caddy SUVs. Damn, I hope I was wrong, cuz it is starting to go down the way I thought it would,althou I thought it would only take a few weeks. They DC shmucks need to remember that , as somebody pointed out here or on Scott's thread, that people don't like to be invaded. Those fucking cowboys. We aren't very popular in the world right now, and we aren't picking up too many new fans. Once a majority of the Moslem world sees this as a religious crusade, we are going to have unleashed a whirlwind that force of arms will not be able to contain; it hasn't worked terribly well for Israel during the last 25 years, and it isn't going to work for us. We are so, so screwed This would most definitely not be a good time for an economic war against us by the rest of the world, whether by official government action, or by millions of totally revulsed individuals selling stocks, selling bonds, exchanging green frog skins for Euros, Dinars, , metal, whatever,(but not the pound) and not buying our goods; it would throw us into a Great Depression.
