those 5,000 + have lived in Jordan or whatever other Arabian countries for a long time, they RETURNED because they want to protect their own country, so they RETURNED to fight the US only. Why is that so hard to understand???? Americans are not the ONLY people who love their own country.

The Iraqis NPR talked about are the refugees who wanted to enter other neighboring countries were denied entry, and then had to return. These Iraqis lived in Iraq before the war, and those 5,000+ live in other countries before the war.

They were coming from the west, from inside Jordan itself. And they were heading east, home to Iraq. According to reports, more than 5,000 of them have to date made this trip."
