You would be surprised to hear that it is not as clear to some people around here.

One actually tried to argue that Saddam's government is not the legitimate government of Iraq because it is not democratic, creating some very strange personal definitions of legitimacy in the process. (Hi Hawk! :-)

If the Bushies are successful in taking over Iraq I think they will treat much of the populace the same way that Sharon treats the Palestinians.
