Ho Hum. Message #13 from American Spirit at Mar 26, 2003 2:50 PM What success has Bush achieved? He graduated from an Ivy League school. He flew an F105. He married Laura Bush. He made money in baseball. He got elected governor of a huge state. He administered that state well enough to attract national attention and get the momentum to run for President. He got elected president according to the constitution of the United States, and with a clear majority of the electorate as measured by the counties he won and the population of those counties. He knows what the hell to do with the military. (Clinton was clueless). He handled a whole raft of incidents with honor, (Do I have to list the Greenville incident, the plane forced down by a one-eyed chinese pilot (who lost the other eye and the rest of himself in the process), 9/11 and the aftermath. He acted decisively in Afghanistan. (Clinton would have had another Black Hawk Down or shot up another chinese embassy). He knows how to tell the truth and tells it consistently. (Clinton knew how to make a lie sound like the truth and told them consistently.) This takes too much time, and you are unwilling to listen to the facts. I don't know why I bother. By the way, are you a guy or a gal? No offense, but there seems to be some speculation on that. Some think you are a gal trying to sound like a guy. I think you are just a plain guy. Who's right?
