one cruise missile admitted to have landed in Turkey they are very fallible when they dont work as designed I hear you, Tex but I can assure you that more civilians are dead from our bombing than US soldiers such is considered very acceptable collateral damage, which "we consider expected in order for our forces to achieve their objective" (words spoken from DOD press secretary earlier tonight) if you believe that embedded journalists will get the full story, then you must also believe in the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, the Boston Celtic Leprechaun, and the Marharaji of Mahesh Yogi I have not seen any embedded reporters showing cilivian deaths in Basra there must be at least 100-200 of those embedded reporters are place carefully behind the front lines I eagerly await the first LIVE telecast of a reporter getting his head blown off !!! not a desire, just an expectation which I await it will happen, it will be horrible over the weekend, I said it is just a matter of time before a school or hospital is bombed, either by an errant bomb or by Saddam's boys now we have it, with the Baghdad marketplace the argument and protests will rage on THE TRUTH DOES NOT MATTER, ONLY THE DEATHS MATTER we Americans like to think in terms of truth we do not define nor dictate the reality of perception and perceived truth after a while, the reasons for invading in the first place, whether contrived, whether falsified by Bush & Rumsfeld & Powell, it will not matter later, only deaths on each side will matter / jim
