I challenge you to name one United States company that has been indicted for violating the export control laws related to Iraq.
You now say we can only say Saddam was a madman at that time in hindsight? than i can only say you are either a liar or severely mentally challenged.

Don't be an ass!

There was a ban on weapon sales to Iran when those stingers were sold.

(There was also a ban on supporting the Contras... which is where that money from the Stinger sales went.)

If President Bush hadn't pardoned people like Cap. Weinberger and others who broke these laws (before the inditment could even come down!) they might still be in jail.
