OK, you are describing radiation poisoning, which is NOT caused by depleted uranium.

Depleted uranium has very little radioactivity. Upstream I linked an article by Vetter, who was cited in the article you linked. Also linked to you his list of publications, and cut and pasted one of them. Depleted uranium causes heavy metal poisoning if you ingest it, which damages the kidneys.

I realize that people hear the word "uranium" and freak, but that's because they don't have good educations in the fields of radiation and poisons and medicine.
