Perle was one of the chief a$$holes, I mean architects, of the ideology used to persuade Bush that the destiny of the USA could be easily fulfilled by deploying a light force in Iraq to topple the first of many "dominos", effortlessly spreading democracy in one Arab country after another -- the vision of "regime change". I am glad the rat is at least knocked off his throne for the moment.
