Unless, of course, those Christians happen to live in Serbia, Kosovo, Lebanon, etc.

Please... those people are not killing from any command of Christ and they never claim such. They are merely people who fight wars and they happen to claim to be Christians. Contrariwise, muslims are killing based on commands from their Quran that can be reasonably taken as commands given to them. And they literally have the encouragement and blessing of their spiritual leaders.

Looking at the history of Christianity, one could only conclude that it is a brutal religion.

There is no worldwide murderous phenomenon in the name of Christianity. And there never has been such a phenomenon. The murders you have in mind were all regional, done by abberant interpretation when compared with the vast number of Christian theologians. They were all loudly condemned by other Christians and were ended by other Christians. This is because Christians themselves used the Bible to show the falsity of the abberant behavior.

Not so with islam.

Remember, too, that others have used the Bible to teach hate

And when it has happened, the vast and overwhelming majority of Christians have come out in force against them, showing how the Bible by no means countenances murderous behavior.

, as those today who use the Koran to teach hate.

That is because the hatred of the Quran actually exists and is reasonably taken by muslims as commands to murder innocent people. No such reasonable commands exist in the Bible allowing us to murder anyone.

People have been killing in the name of religion for centuries. Looking at the history of Christianity, one could only conclude that it was(is) a brutal religion. Remember, too, that others have used the Bible to teach hate, as those today who use the Koran to teach hate.

Self explanatory.
Christianity has evolved. Islam has not. But, then again, Christianity has been around a lot longer. Maybe in another 700 years Islam will become a civilized religion. Wait and see!!!! Ken
