LOOK INWARD, AMERICA Great article. It was amazing to me to watch the media, when the early reports indicated the guy was Islamic, then to see them back off to the point where they were totally discounting the fact. It is a shame to see a small number of these people destroying the entire religion. Friedman's program, last night, was clear on this point -- where he was present for Prayers in a Mosque in Cairo; when the Prayers were over, most of the attendees left -- but about 10% or so stayed and it turned into an anti-American hate rally. Eye-opening.

LOOK INWARD, AMERICA Wed Mar 26, 4:15 AM ET Add Op/Ed - New York Post to My Yahoo! It has become painfully obvious that America faces a threat from within. Yes, and that threat is the right and the NY Post who are always trying to scare us. The same argument was made about communists. It was the basis for McCarthy's witch hunt. The players change but the story remains the same. Two or three people run amok out of 260 million plus in this country and we have to close a whole religion down. And why stop there........lets go after anyone who opposes this war. You never know what they'll do next........wait, I think we best go after anyone who doesn't like Bush. Wait, I think we should go after anyone who didn't vote for Bush.......wait, lets go after anyone who doesn't belong to the GOP. And if we plan to shut down Muslims, I think we should probably start with Mani.......he may well be a sleeper. How can we be sure he isn't? Best to take no chances. ted
