Lindy,
No flowers in bagdad i am afraid. I was watching the iraqis in the south line up for food and shouting praises of saddam as they got US relief. Only thing i could think of was that they looked a hell of a lot like palestinians. I hope once saddam and his regime are gone and the US continues the humanitarian effort there will be a profound change in iraqi behavior but i doubt it. mike

It gets to me also. I take solace in the knowledge that this is really going to marginalize the Dems in the next election. Could almost lead to a breakup of the Party. They will be lucky to hold 40 Senate seats when this is over. And the Bush reelection will be a "Tiger Woods" parade.
The Dixie Chicks are looking for a hideout.
