NorthStar, you are deciding between a Pentium 4 M and a Pentium 4 non-M? If battery life isn't an issue, then go with the non-M. The benchmarks are obviously going to favor the faster non-M processor, though you'll probably notice the difference in only a handful of everyday tasks.

Personally, I'd probably go with the M model because there will be times where I consider battery life to be important, and the performance of a notebook isn't a real big issue for me. But then again, the best for my needs would be a Centrino.
